Growing up in a rural setting with many animals, my great love for all creatures grew throughout childhood. I had always talked to the animals when I was young, and thought everyone else did too! Of course my favorite movie back then was Dr. Doolittle. 

I earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree from the University of Minnesota, Waseca Branch and spent one semester at the Veterinary College in St. Paul, MN. After graduation I spent 20 years working at Veterinary hospitals in Watertown, Brooklyn Park, and Foley, MN. 

Co-owning Mind, Body & Spirit in downtown St. Cloud, MN for 20 years allowed my love for people to grow to match my love for animals and have invaluable experiences helping both. Being a communication link for people and their animal companions has been life changing and so very rewarding.
